Currencies Direct Spain was delighted to attend and be a headline sponsor of the BBF’s Afternoon of Elegance last Saturday.

What an incredible afternoon it was, bringing together our local community in support of a fantastic cause. Guests enjoyed a stunning fashion show, delicious canapés, exciting raffle prizes, and a fabulous auction — all while raising vital funds for the British Benevolent Fund.

We are thrilled to share that over €3,000 was raised during the event. 🎉

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, donated, volunteered, and helped make the day such a success. Special thanks to all the organisers, sponsors, and businesses involved in creating such a memorable occasion.

Thank you to all you amazing people who helped to make this month's food drive a real success!! It was wonderful to get so much support even when some were dealing with: bad arms, bad backs, busy lives and horrible sickness!! You are a wonderful bunch of people who just refuse to be defeated and I am so very grateful!!
This month the support of everyone who: packed, collected items, shopped, delivered, donated, acted as a collection point and passed on the word has made a real difference to 125 local people in need - including 52 children!!
Thank you for taking the time to help support people in wonderful our community.

We had the most wonderful day at the “Walk and Talk” on Saturday in Mojácar, raising money for PAWS-PATAS and MACS.

Nearly €3,000 was raised — such an incredible result! It was so special to see the community come together and support such important causes.

A huge thank you to all the business sponsors and all the lovely locals who helped make the day so memorable.

Special thanks to Tito’s Beach Bar for hosting the after-party and generously providing free drinks and tapas for all the walkers.

Days like this remind us what a wonderful community we have. ❤️
