T-3 to the on Wednesday evening 12th Aug - a partial but major eclipse at 93%.
From a weather point of view, a first look ahead at latest forecasts favour a light Easterly wind - there is uncertainty at this stage re amounts of any evening low cloud which may be present in the Strait area, with significant differences between forecasts - some possible dust haze/ calima also suggested.
