Caser Seguros – Anti-Okupas protection for holiday home owners in Spain

Anti-Okupas is an additional cover that can be added to Caser’s home insurance in Spain. It is specifically designed for second homes and holiday properties that are left unoccupied for long periods and are therefore more vulnerable to illegal occupation (okupas).

What Anti-Okupas covers (included in the price)

• 24/7 alarm monitoring and response if unauthorized occupation is detected
• Legal services and a lawyer to handle the occupation through legal channels
• Court costs and administrative fees fully covered by the insurance
• Accelerated eviction process (a special legal procedure for okupa cases)
• Locksmith services and door replacement after eviction
• Compensation for possible damage to the property during the occupation
