For anyone that may be travelling -

Europesure, as is common with most travel insurance policies, have an exclusion for War and this current conflict is within that definition.

We do however cover the following :

A 30 day extension to your policy after it’s expiry date if you are unable to return to your Country of Residence due to the conflict, this is automatic, and does not require additional premium.
Emergency Medical Expenses cover if you are injured in the conflict zone.

For any other expenditure, please ask your customers to contact their airlines/hotels etc to see what alternative solutions they can offer which may include free accommodation and food – we understand the UAE are offering this to their visitors. The situation is fluid so will change constantly.

So from the 1st January 2026 it appears the law will come into effect that electric scooters need to have liability insurance.

We can provide cover for this, up to € 300,000 prices start from the following -

Public liability € 37.85 per year
Public liability € 45.00 per year, includes assistance and rider injuries.
