Celebrating the last appointment and the completion of another relocation project for this wonderful family of three (I'm truly blessed with amazing clients 🙏), mixed EU/non-EU nationalities, who moved to Malaga from the US in the middle of Jul🛩

Today, August 24th, we completed the last appointment for a TIE! AND... the non-EU residency application was reviewed and resolved in just 2 days!!! (unthinkable for the Malaga Foreigner's office, which at present is truly efficient!)

Now it is really time to start my holidays! 🏖

A young family of four relocated from the USA to Spain, with a mix of EU and non-EU nationalities, returning to Europe to be closer to their families.

They first got in touch with us in December 2025 to plan their move for July 2026.

The challenge?
When they arrived in Spain at the end of June, they only had 10 days before leaving again for a family trip abroad, returning permanently in August.

That meant every key administrative step needed to be completed within those 10 days to secure their Spanish residency.

Together, we planned everything months in advance.
✔️ Every required document was reviewed and agreed.
✔️ A detailed step-by-step plan was created and checked.
✔️ Appointments were secured well ahead of time.

When the family arrived, everything ran exactly as planned.
Every appointment was completed without a single obstacle, and several civil servants even commented on how exceptionally well prepared the application was.

Even better, the final step—the residency application for the non-EU family member—was submitted three days ahead of schedule, allowing the family to leave Spain completely stress-free.

While they were enjoying their family holiday abroad, the wonderful news arrived...

🎉 The non-EU family member’s Spanish residency permit was approved.

☀️ Sometimes, moving isn’t about leaving something behind it’s about creating the life you’ve always imagined.

For S&P, that meant swapping grey skies for sunshine, having the Mediterranean on their doorstep and enjoying a healthier, more relaxed way of life.

In December 2023, they packed up their car and drove from the UK to Málaga, turning the journey into a memorable road trip before starting a brand new chapter in Spain.

Like many people relocating, they faced challenges along the way. Finding a rental property without Spanish employment history isn’t always straightforward, and navigating residency paperwork can quickly become overwhelming. We’re so pleased we could support them throughout the process, helping them secure a home and guiding them through every stage of their relocation.

Today, they’re working remotely from their balcony, making the most of the sunshine and embracing everything life in Málaga has to offer.
