What does it take to move EdTech from promising solutions to real learning impact at scale?

EdVentures is collaborating with UNICEF Egypt as Strategic & EdTech Partner for an evidence-led working session bringing together key voices from across Egypt’s education and EdTech ecosystem to examine what works, what stands in the way of scale, and what needs to happen next.

The event will explore evidence and real-world experience across:

• Foundational learning
• Teacher development
• The EdTech ecosystem

With a focus on turning insights into practical priorities for more effective, inclusive digital learning in Egypt.

We’ll be sharing the key findings from the session and what they could mean for scaling EdTech impact in Egypt.

On the latest EdTech Mondays Africa, an initiative of the Mastercard Foundation Centre for Innovative Teaching and Learning, our Founder and CEO Dalia Ibrahim joined the conversation on what it takes to move EdTech beyond successful pilots and into education systems at scale.

The discussion explored sustainable financing and the collaboration needed between governments, investors, development partners and innovators to make that scale possible.

At EdVentures, we are always proud to see our portfolio companies turn collaboration into meaningful growth and impact.

We’re pleased to celebrate a new milestone for , a member of the EdVentures x Mastercard Foundation EdTech Fellowship, as Cognify Academy partners with Growth Labs, in collaboration with MSA University, to launch a new program for students aged 14–18.

The program will equip young learners with skills in entrepreneurship, innovation, technology, and future readiness, while supporting Cognify’s broader mission to create more inclusive and scalable learning opportunities.

This milestone reflects what we aim to foster across the EdVentures ecosystem: strong partnerships, sustainable growth, and solutions that expand access to impactful learning experiences.

From the final day of the Testbed Event ✨

Testers got hands-on with the startups’ products, while founders had the opportunity to observe how real users interacted with their solutions and gather feedback on what worked, what could be improved, and what they could take forward.

The participating startups are part of Cohort 3 of the Mastercard Foundation EdTech Fellowship, using these real user insights to further develop and strengthen their products.

A day of testing, learning, and turning feedback into the next steps for better products.

For the first time, EdVentures is bringing the Testbed experience to our Cohort 3 startups from the Mastercard Foundation EdTech Fellowship.

A space where assumptions meet real users, and real products meet real feedback.

Run by Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), the Testbed will give founders the opportunity to see how users actually interact with their products, uncover what works, what doesn’t, and what they may need to rethink.

Because building a great product isn’t just about what you create.

It’s about understanding who you’re creating it for.
