We’re thrilled to welcome Sarah Mashhour as our Group Marketing & Communications Director!

Sarah is a seasoned marketing and communications executive with more than 20 years of experience in brand storytelling, reputation management, and stakeholder engagement across leading local, regional, and international banks.

She started her career in the banking sector back in 2006 and since then, Sarah has built a strong reputation for leading high-performing teams through periods of rapid growth and corporate transformation. Over the past 10 years, she has held several leadership positions, culminating in her most recent role as Director of Marketing, Corporate Communications, Customer Experience, and Financial Inclusion.

In her new role at Contact Financial Holding, Sarah will lead the development and implementation of the Group’s integrated marketing and communications strategy, with a focus on strengthening Contact’s brand positioning and corporate reputation, reinforcing the Group’s positive image, and building trust among all stakeholders.

على مدى أكثر من 20 عامًا، رسّخت سارة حضورها كإحدى أبرز القيادات في مجال التسويق والاتصال المؤسسي من خلال عملها في عدد من أبرز البنوك المحلية والإقليمية والدولية. وقد تميّزت بقدرتها على بناء هوية العلامات التجارية، وإدارة السمعة المؤسسية، وتطوير استراتيجيات فعّالة للتواصل مع مختلف أصحاب المصلحة.

منذ أن بدأت سارة مسيرتها في القطاع المصرفي عام 2006، نجحت في بناء سمعة مهنية متميزة في قيادة فرق العمل عالية الكفاءة خلال فترات النمو المتسارع والتحول المؤسسي. وعلى مدار السنوات العشر الماضية، تولّت عددًا من المناصب القيادية، وصولًا إلى أحدث مناصبها كرئيس لقطاع التسويق والاتصال المؤسسي وتجربة العملاء والشمول المالي.

Growth across our platforms, continued digital adoption, and a more integrated operating model defined the first half of 2026 at Contact Financial Holding.

The Group recorded EGP 1.3 billion in consolidated operating income, up 6% year-on-year, while Earnings Before Tax increased 7% to EGP 281 million.

Across our platforms, total new lending reached EGP 5.9 billion, with Digital Lending doubling to EGP 1.1 billion and the Business Platform growing 52% to EGP 2.0 billion. Insurance also maintained strong growth momentum, with Gross Written Premiums increasing 24% to EGP 2.3 billion.

Alongside this growth, we continued advancing our operating model, accelerating investments in digital transformation and infrastructure modernization, and strengthening integration across our Auto & Lifestyle, Consumer Credit, Business, and Insurance platforms.

Technology remains at the heart of this evolution. Our proprietary AI engine is now processing approximately 68% of auto loan applications, while Contact Now surpassed EGP 1 billion in transaction value during H1 2026 and reached 2.5 million total downloads.

As we enter the second half of 2026, we remain focused on operational excellence, scalable growth, and leveraging technology to create a smarter, more seamless, and inclusive financial ecosystem.

We’re thrilled to welcome Mai Helal as Customer Experience & Operations Director of Contact Financial Holding!

Mai is a distinguished leader with nearly 30 years of experience in customer experience, operations, digital transformation, commercial strategy, and business excellence. She has held senior leadership positions across globally recognized organizations in the telecommunications, technology, and consulting sectors.

Throughout her career, Mai has spearheaded large-scale customer-centric transformation initiatives. Within the technology sector, she led the E-commerce & E-Payment business, successfully launching and scaling a direct-to-consumer e-commerce platform, doubling online revenue growth over five years, and significantly enhancing customer experience and Net Promoter Score (NPS). Her leadership was instrumental in establishing new digital sales channels, strengthening strategic partnerships, and driving sustainable business growth.

Before joining the technology sector, Mai held several executive leadership roles within the telecommunications industry, as Head of Business Excellence and Head of Customer Value Management, where she led large-scale operational excellence initiatives, customer-centric transformation programs, digitalization efforts, and strategic growth projects across local and international markets.

In her new role at Contact, Mai Helal will lead the Customer Experience and Operations functions, focusing on delivering exceptional customer journeys, operational excellence, service innovation, process optimization, and sustainable business performance. Q1 2026 reflected continued progress in this direction, as we advanced our journey toward building a more integrated, diversified, and technology-enabled financial platform, recording EGP 642 million in consolidated operating income, up 27% YoY, while consolidated net income increased by 12% YoY to reach EGP 66 million.

Throughout the quarter, we continued advancing our restructuring strategy while accelerating investments in digital transformation, infrastructure modernization, and AI integration, further strengthening our position as a diversified fintech platform across financing, insurance, and digital solutions.

Through our AI Lab, we also developed an AI-powered risk approval engine designed to enhance credit decision precision and improve operational efficiency within a fully regulated framework. Major General. Hazem brings a distinguished career spanning decades of leadership within the Egyptian Ministry of Interior, where he played a pivotal role in strengthening the social security framework and advancing institutional excellence.

Throughout his career, Major General. Hazem has held several senior leadership roles in Egyptian police, where he oversaw critical security operations and the effective management of complex operational environments.

His distinguished service earned him numerous honors and decorations, most notably the First-Class Order of Excellence awarded by the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt in 2017.

In his new role at Contact, Major General. We believe at Contact Financial Holding that real financial inclusion goes beyond providing access to services, it is realized when opportunities are available to everyone without exception, particularly women who face additional challenges in their daily lives. From this perspective, our partnership with Al Nour Wal Amal Association was established to support visually impaired women by creating sustainable employment opportunities, enabling stable sources of income, and supporting small businesses, empowering them to achieve financial independence through our digital financial solutions.

The starting point of this collaboration was our participation in “Dialogue in the Dark” experience, a unique simulation and the first of its kind in the Middle East under the umbrella of Al Nour Wal Amal Association. This immersive experience allowed us to better understand the daily challenges faced by visually impaired individuals and served as a powerful reminder that awareness and understanding are the foundation of any meaningful and lasting impact.

When women’s empowerment converges with digital transformation and financial inclusion, we move beyond simply providing financial services. We help shape a more inclusive and equitable future, one that creates meaningful, lasting impact for individuals and society as a whole.
