يعرف التطوع بأنه الجهد الذي يبذله أي إنسان بلا مقابل لمجتمعه بدافع منه للإسهام في تحمل المسؤولية في تقديم الرعاية الإجتماعية، والتطوع يمكن أن يكون مالي أو عيني أو بدني أو فكري يقدمه الفرد عن رضا وقناعة ودون إكراه أو ضغوط خارجية لمساعدة ومؤازرة الآخرين.
وهو كذلك خدمة إنسانية وطنية تهدف إلى حماية الوطن وأهله من أي خطر، وفي بعض الدول كسويسرا مثلاً يعتبر التطوع إلزامياً للذين لا تنطبق عليهم شروط الخدم

التطوع يجلب الفوائد للمجتمع بشكل عام وللمتطوع الفرد بشكل خاص، فهو يساهم في بناء المجتمع ثقافيا وعلميا وصحيا واقتصاديا وكذلك إجتماعيا مما يؤدي إلي مجتمع أكثر تماسكا عن طريق بناء الثقة والمعاملة بالمثل بين المواطنين.
فالهدف من نشاطنا هو مساعدة جميع المؤسسات والجمعيات الخيرية في تنمية نشاطها، وتطبيق منظومة التطوع في جميع الأماكن مثل المستشفيات،و دور الأيتام و الرعاية، والمعاهد العامة والخاصة، والمدارس وكل مكان يحتاج إلي أي مساعدة من أي إتجاه بالإضافة إلى دورنا في التوعية والرقابة أيضا.
دورنا هو الوصل بين جميع الجمعيات والمؤسسات الخيرية حتى نصل إلى هدفنا جميعا وهو بناء مجتمع متكامل صحيا،وعلميا،وأخلاقيا،وثقافيا وبالطبع إجتماعيا. و لذلك هدفنا الأساسي هو بداية حياة أفضل لنا و لأطفالنا. Volunteering is defined as the effort made by anyone at no cost to society to assume responsibility in the provision of social care, volunteering can be financial or in kind, or physical or intellectual provided by the individual satisfaction, conviction and without coercion or external pressure to help and support others
It is also a humanitarian and national service aimed to protect the nation and its people from any danger,in some countries such as Switzerland for example,volunteering is a mandatory for those who do not meet the conditions of military service, who are in the age of 20-60 years
Volunteering brings benefits to society in general and to volunteers in particular, it contributes to have a community with a good cultural, scientific, healthy,economically and socially as well, leading to a more cohesive society by building trust and reciprocity among citizens
The goal of our work is to help all organizations and charities in its development, and also to apply the volunteering system in all places such as hospitals, orphanages and care places, public and private institutes, schools and everywhere needs any different kinds of help. In addition to our role in raising awareness and control as well,we need from all charities to be connected with each others until we all reach our goal to build an integrated community with healthy, scientifically, ethically, culturally and socially life. And so our main goal is the beginning of a better life for us and for our children
