A - We assisted a Franchise Educational centre (over 180 centers in southern Europe) in reversing a ministerial decree in operation for eight years prohibiting them from establishing business in Egypt. We were astonished with the speed by which government officials adapted to our arguments and they were quickly taking measures to accommodate and welcome yet another FDI establish business in Egypt. B – A German Chemicals multinational Company with presence in 89 countries and T/O of 7,5 Bil euros pa, wishing to setup a subsidiary in Egypt were prohibited by the fact that as non-Egyptians they could not import their products from their factories in Germany into Egypt. We assisted them in finding a legal framework that enabled them to import. It was the first foreign entity ever in Egypt to be able to import. The company traded profitably in the Egyptian market. C – Assisting an international air transport company establish business in Egypt by contesting monopolistic methods exercised by the local carrier, prohibiting our client from establishing itself in the Egyptian lucrative market. The existence of the competition law and the newly established consumer protection association are healthy examples of the determination of the Egyptian government to modernize its economy and to safeguard the interests of the Egyptian consumer. D – Following our insight of a market need, we have assumed a project management role in establishing a shipping line connecting Alexandria with a European port, which subsequently will act as a hub for all Egyptian outbound traffic into Continental Europe. E – EAC has played a pivotal role in establishing the first official stem cell bank by negotiating a license granted by the Egyptian Ministry of health on behalf of its multinational client.
