Samuel Redondo serves as Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions. He also heads and is in charge of evaluating new investment opportunities in the life sciences sector, to keep emerging business development insights at the forefront of Quantum EQT.

Samuel graduated his BSc. In Business Management and Economics, and holds a MSc. In Economics and International Development from Kings College in London and was a Chatham House Fellow for the 2018 London conference.

Prior to joining Quantum EQT, Samuel worked for a Hedge fund in London and at the International Trade Centre in Switzerland. Furthermore, Samuel was part of the trade policy review team in the WTO who reviewed Pharma agreements.

He is part of the executive committee who is in charge of making final decisions on investments.

His industry specializations are health are and pharma, manufacturing, banking and international trade.

His financials specializations include private equity, mergers & acquisitions and leveraged buyouts.

Hector Núñez, SVP, heads the Capital Markets division as well as the Quantum’s internal auditing team.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Management and Auditing from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) and a Masters in Financial Management from Universidad APEC .

His background includes working with complex tax structuring , accounting, external audits and internal audits for small and big companies on the Dominican Republic in different industries, such as construction, wholesale, to***co and others. Also working with financial analysis in the manufacturing industry and conducted valuations of multiple companies.

Hector served as a mentor and collaborator for startups on several entrepreneurship programs and initiatives.

His industry specializations are textile industry, app and game development, and technology.

His financials specializations are corporate finance, financial markets, mergers & acquisitions and venture capital.

Wilber Alonzo serves as Senior Vice President and heads the M&A division.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Management and Auditing from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM), with a master’s degree in Finance and Investments at the London School of Business and Finance (LSBF).

Wilber held the role of Director of Global Operations and a key member of the Board of Directors at an multinational footwear company with headquarters in the Dominican Republic. He has served as a business speaker and as a financial advisor for startups at the PUCMM university’s Entrepreneurship Center.

Before joining Quantum, Wilber co-founded WALOF Enterprises, a one-stop-shop consulting firm for entrepreneurship and innovation with operations in Latin America and the United States.

His industry specializations are retail, FMCG, sports and international trade.

His financials specializations are venture capital, angel investment, seed capital and mergers & acquisitions.

Servan Saifouri is our Managing Partner, and heads the companies Private Equity division.

Servan graduated from Oxford University and holds a postgraduate degree in finance from Harvard Business School.

His responsabilities includes the investment oversight and evaluating target companies together with managing Quantums Private Equity strategies, and financial deal structuring.

His industry specializations are shipping, healthcare & pharmaceutical, and energy.

His financials specializations are Private Equity, Merger & Acquisitions, Restructuring and distressed debt.

Servan has a past in the military and as a pilot before going into the energy business where he has worked internationally with investments in the energy sector and life sciences industry on a global scale.
