Sometimes the most useful business question is the one that makes you slightly uncomfortable.

Is that market really as attractive as the numbers suggest?
Is growth actually improving the business?
Does your pricing make commercial sense?
Is the board seeing what is really happening?

These are the kinds of questions we explore in **Skale Egenkapital Insights**.

Research, observations and practical business analysis for people who have decisions to make.

Have a look. You may find a question you were not expecting. Visit Skale Egenkapital website and read our Insights > Articles

Is your business investable — even if you are not looking for an investor?

That is really the question behind The Investable Business.

Because investability is not only about raising capital. It is about understanding whether the business itself is commercially sound, financially credible, properly governed and capable of creating long-term value.

In this short video, Marcelo Galati introduces the thinking behind the programme and what we will work on together.

Across four live workshops, participants work on their own company rather than a theoretical case. We examine the evidence behind the business, revenue and financial logic, ownership and governance, funding and due diligence, and finally how the whole story holds together when somebody else begins asking difficult questions.

The purpose is not to produce another beautiful strategy document.

It is to understand the business you actually have — what is strong, what is assumed, what needs evidence, and what deserves attention next.

The next group begins 10 October 2026, with a limited number of participants so there is room for discussion, challenge and practical work.

If you are a founder, CEO, owner or board member who would value some structured time outside the daily operation of the company, take a look at the video.

Vores produkt er for alle!

Where Are the Customers?

If you are building a business, thinking about starting one, or wondering why a good product is receiving less commercial attention than you expected, Marcelo and I wrote something for you.

Nice Logo. Where Are the Customers?

We wanted the business strategy to feel understandable and usable, especially for people working with limited time and resources and a very real need to make the company work.

You may know your company very well.
That does not mean you can see it clearly.

When you are inside a business every day, you know the history, the effort, the compromises and the reasons behind every decision. An investor, buyer or potential partner sees something very different.

They look for value, risk, dependency, scalability, governance, growth potential and what will happen when the founders are no longer holding everything together.
That outside perspective matters.

If you are considering selling your company, bringing in investors, preparing for a merger or acquisition, or simply trying to understand how investible your business really is, you need more than intuition.
You need evidence.

The Investible Business Workshop is designed to help you look at your company through the eyes of the people who may one day invest in it, acquire it or become part of its future.

You will see what strengthens your position, what weakens it, and what should be addressed before an important conversation begins.

Sometimes the most valuable thing you can give your company is a perspective that does not come from inside it.
Before you decide what to do with your business, find out what your business is actually ready for.

$1.75 billion raised. Six months after launch, Quibi announced it was shutting down.

Quibi had experienced leadership, Hollywood talent, serious investors and a very large market.

But a large market is not necessarily your market.
This is one of the questions we explore in Chapter 2 — “Keep the Logo. Find the Customers.” of Nice Logo. Where Are the Customers? https://amzn.eu/d/0fyU2b6L

We often hear:
“Everyone could use this.”
Perhaps. But “everyone” is a terrible place to start looking for customers.

Who specifically has the problem? Where are they? How do they behave today? And are enough of them willing to change what they already do?

The book makes the distinction very clearly: a useful first market segment needs to be specific enough that you can find real people, ask meaningful questions and recognise patterns.

If you own a small business, try answering these questions without opening your website or presentation.

Who is your customer?
Which problem are you solving for them?
Why would they spend money solving it?
Why would they buy from you?
How will they find you?

The exercise takes a few minutes.
The answers can save time and money for the company.
That distinction sits at the heart of "Nice Logo. Where Are the Customers"

Many parts of "Nice Logo. Where Are the Customers?" began with real conversations.

A founder struggling to find customers.

A company concentrating heavily on the product while sales remained almost accidental.

Someone spending money in places that felt important without knowing whether customers cared about them.

And, of course, our own experience of building a business.

Marcelo and I started asking ourselves which lessons would have been useful to have collected in one place when the journey began.

That became the book.

A company can look busy and still be stuck.

People are working.
Meetings are happening.
The numbers may even look acceptable.

But there is one question that changes everything:

“What is the next decision?”

If nobody can answer clearly, the problem is usually not effort.
It is structure.

Many companies do not slow down because of lack of activity.
They slow down because priorities, trade-offs, and ownership are not clear enough to move decisively.

The first step is rarely “more strategy.”
It is making one important decision visible, structured, and actionable.

Start with one decision. https://skaleegenkapital.com/decision-readiness-skale-egenkapital-2/
