We are one of the oldest student initiatives at WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management, the foremost German business school. Acting as a link between the student body and the finance industry, we promote the theoretical and practical skills of our members and assist them in their path towards a succesful career in investment banking, sales & trading, asset management, private equity, hedge funds, and related industries.

We would like to thank all alumni and students who participate in the WHU Finance Society Mentoring Program. Only through your commitment is it possible to get such a great thing going.

In our mentoring program we connect former and current members of the Finance Society and thus enable both sides to exchange experience, thoughts and ideas.

In our opinion it is very beneficial for students to have an experienced mentor who has already achieved what they want to achieve and with whom they can talk about things they should consider along the way.

At the same time it is also nice for the mentors to have young and motivated mentees, who do not only follow their mentor's advice but at the same time give the latest insights into studying and living in Vallendar.

Our goal as WHU Finance Society is to support our members and all WHU students with their careers as best as we can. We highly value longlasting relationships and meaningful discussions and are delighted that so many students have already decided to become a part.

We wish you the best of luck for the Mentoring Programme and hope that you will make the most of it.

Register now for the Investment Challenge organized by the Junior Initiative IE Business School Madrid and the Bocconi Students Capital Markets Initiative.

You will have the chance to win great monetary prizes which will be announced on April 8th, for a small fee of 10€. You will be given a fictitious starting capital of $500.000 to try and beat the market. The simulation will last 5 weeks (6th April - May 8th) and during this period you will have access to markets and financial instruments.

The Thomson Reuters EIKON Workshop - in partnership with WHU Finance Society - has been an enormously illuminating opportunity to get to know the fundamental tools of EIKON software.
A total of 25 WHU students had the chance to get together with Ms. Loos, a representative of Reuters, to dive into the operation of EIKON software via an immersive webinar.
The event received phenomenal feedback from all participants, with many praising it as an incredible opportunity to get to know the basics of one of the most important programs for the analysis of equities.
The WHU Finance Society would like to thank the team of Reuters and the workshop’s participants for making this event happen.

The Corporate Treasury Industrial Placement Program is aimed at students in their penultimate year of university who are studying a sandwich course including a year in industry. The Program runs annually, beginning in June.

The WHU Finance Society recently hosted an amazing team event for all of its team members and interested students.
It was great to get to know everyone in such a close and personal setting. Having dinner together, sharing insights on what everybody is up to and discussing the WHU Finance Society's future in such a casual and friendly environment had everybody leaving with a smile on their face. We are all looking forward towards advancing this student initiative even further with all of you!
