A very proud moment for all of us at SOLshare!

Harvard Business School's professor Gunnar Trumbull has selected SOLshare as a case study for their MBA program, highlighting our business lines and the models that guide our work.

Last week, the HBS MBA students had a lecture on the case, diving into the details with sharp questions and thoughtful perspectives on the future of distributed energy. Our Co Founder and CEO, Dr. Sebastian Groh, joined as a guest speaker and took their questions in real time, leading to a lively and engaging discussion.

It’s encouraging to see our work included in the HBS Classroom, and we truly appreciated the ideas and curiosity these bright minds brought to the conversation. Moments like this remind us why we do what we do and how far the SOLshare story continues to grow.

✨ From pledges to practice — industrial decarbonization at scale

🤝We’re proud to share a major milestone: Debonair Group has signed an 8 MWp rooftop solar project with SOLshare, the largest deal in our company’s history to date.

🌱This project will generate over 11,200 MWh of clean electricity every year, cutting nearly 7,000 tons of CO₂ annually, while reducing energy costs and enhancing resilience across Debonair’s operations.

🌍 Why this matters:
’s textile sector has over 4,000 factories and represents a US$1 billion rooftop + opportunity.

⏩With 14 MWp already installed or under implementation across 31 factories, this deal with Debonair marks the acceleration phase of : scaling just energy transformation from pilot to mainstream in Asia’s textile sector.

📅 In 2023, SOLshare achieved a significant milestone with its SOLmobility business line, deploying more than 100 smart Lithium-ion batteries. SOLshare demonstrated its commitment to environmental sustainability by establishing the Greener Garments Initiative - GGI, a collaborative venture between the esteemed fashion brand Bestseller and SOLshare. Additionally, our efforts to enhance energy access were evident as we expanded our SOLgrids in the Rohingya Refugee Camps by implementing two additional grids. ☀️🛺

🔮Looking ahead, we foresee significant opportunities for expanding our operations, with a strategic vision to establish Bangladesh's inaugural Rickshaw Virtual Power Plant (VPP). This initiative can potentially buffer up to 30% of the national grid’s peak load, marking a substantial step forward in our mission. We are committed to ensuring smart energy for a smart Bangladesh.
