Our postcard collection keeps growing, and we're happily keeping the celebrations going beyond 21 September!

This time, the Ministry of Smart Administration and Regional Development of Latvia is sending us a big wave hello 👋 and a reminder that the best ideas come from putting different minds together!

Through , partners from across the Baltic Sea region are sharing their knowledge and experiences to find better ways to plan and manage our coasts. 🌊

Because when it comes to solving shared challenges, more heads (and more countries!) are better than one. 😉

🚨 A flood hits your town. Volunteers are ready to help. But does anyone know who should do what?

In an emergency, there's no time to figure out how to work together. That needs to happen BEFORE disaster strikes.

💙 That's exactly what 's CREWS is working on: bringing emergency services, local authorities and volunteers together to train, test solutions and prepare for real crises.

In a new interview, Vineta Polatside from the Council of the Baltic Sea States explains why knowing and trusting each other before an emergency can make all the difference.

Our celebrations are still going strong, and today's postcard comes from the team! 💙

Their message? Good ideas shouldn't be left gathering dust on a shelf! 📚 Instead, they're bringing together coastal communities, researchers and planners from across the Baltic Sea region to share solutions and better prepare our coasts for climate change.

Because the best thing about cooperation is that what works in one place can help people somewhere else, too! 🌍

Without someone to take over, it could mean closed doors, lost jobs and one less familiar place in your town.

But a new generation could also mean a fresh start! 💡

That's what 's NextCircle project is all about! And with its kick-off meeting, the work has officially begun. 🎉

Partners will help family businesses pass the baton to younger entrepreneurs, keeping local businesses alive while making room for new ideas.
