Last week, our HUESKER Engineers Meeting 2026 took place in Gescher. 📍

Over the course of three days, the focus was on professional exchange and joint discussions. In addition to current projects and products, the main focus was on practical experience — ranging from geotechnical applications to hydraulic engineering and environmental technology, right through to road construction. 🌍 💬

The conversations outside the presentations were particularly valuable. Different perspectives, regional requirements and practical experience help us to further develop solutions and create added value for our customers. 🚀 💡

Many thanks to all colleagues who were there in person or took part online. Direct exchange across national borders remains an important part of our collaboration. 🌐 🤝

A familiar face in a new leadership role 🌍

James Feest is taking over as Managing Director of HUESKER Ltd.
He follows Graham Horgan, who is moving to Australia to lead our subsidiary there.

James has deep roots within HUESKER and a long-standing commitment to our shared goals. Having most recently applied his expertise as Business Development Director at the Group level, he is now returning to lead HUESKER Ltd into the future.

For us, it is a matter of great pride when our experts take the next big step in their careers within our own ranks. It shows that the HUESKER Group is a place where you can grow, change perspectives, and take on new responsibilities while staying part of the family. 💯

Big news from the HUESKER Group! 🌍

Graham Horgan is to become the new Managing Director of HUESKERAustralia Pty Ltd. and HUESKER Asia Pacific.

Graham has been a valuable member of our team since 2004 and has successfully led HUESKER UK since 2012. He is now moving to Australia to lead our subsidiary into the future.

For us, this move is a clear sign of our strength. It demonstrates that we offer an environment in which experienced leaders seize the opportunity to develop further within our group. The fact that Graham is leaving his familiar surroundings for this new challenge is testament to his genuine motivation and deep commitment to our shared goals.

Such partnerships not only put technical expertise to the test – they also open up new ways in which geosynthetic products can be developed, designed more sustainably and more widely accepted.

👉 A very important point:
Geosynthetic solutions would be used much more often if construction projects focused not only on short-term costs, but also more on long-term benefits and cost-effectiveness.

📣 Technology leadership in drainage: HUESKER acquires Sineco International 🤝

With the 100% takeover of Sineco as a subsidiary of the HUESKER Group on 3 April 2025, both companies are celebrating a milestone in their company histories. With this merger, HUESKER is expanding its product portfolio to include own high-end drainage and dewatering products and strengthens its market position as the technology leader for geosynthetic applications.

Sineco International
Sineco is an innovator in the development and production of outstanding geocomposites. The company operates a state-of-the-art production site as well as its own research and development centre close to Milan, Italy. Based on innovative 3D thermoplastic monofilament technology, Sineco produces unique products for drainage, erosion control, soil stabilization, aeration, and noise protection.
