New GMG Eagle LIDAR Imager APEX 4D
Professional Long Range 3D/4D Underground Imaging System
The GMG Eagle LIDAR Imager APEX 4D represents a new premium generation of professional underground exploration technology from GMG DETECTORS.
Developed for advanced field exploration, treasure hunting, underground structure investigation and subsurface target analysis, the APEX 4D combines long-range remote scanning, 3D/4D visual imaging, multi-material classification and fixed-point precision exploration within one portable professional system.
The system is designed to first survey large areas from a distance and identify potential underground anomaly zones. Once an area of interest has been located, the operator can move closer and use the precision exploration functions to further narrow the target position.
An integrated color display provides real-time visual information to assist the operator in evaluating underground anomalies, approximate target position, direction, size and estimated depth.
Advanced 3D/4D Visual Imaging
The APEX 4D features an integrated visual imaging platform designed to convert underground scanning information into an easy-to-read color display.
The visualization system assists with identifying different underground target categories and interpreting the approximate distribution of subsurface anomalies.
According to the available imaging functions, the display can assist the operator in evaluating:
Approximate target location
Target direction
Approximate target dimensions
Estimated burial depth
Distribution of underground anomalies
Target-category information
The system uses color-based visual interpretation to assist in distinguishing between different underground responses such as metallic targets, void-related anomalies and selected mineral or gemstone categories.
Long Range Remote Scanning
The APEX 4D is designed for broad-area exploration without requiring the operator to scan every section of ground individually.
Maximum stated search range: 1 to 1,000 meters
This long-range scanning function is intended to help users quickly investigate large areas and identify potential zones that require closer examination.
It is particularly suitable for open areas, mountains, forests, hills and other environments where conventional point-by-point scanning can be time-consuming.
Deep Detection Capability
Maximum stated detection depth: 1 to 50 meters
The depth capability is designed for investigation of deep underground targets and structures.
Actual performance depends on several factors, including:
Target size
Target composition
Soil structure
Mineralization
Moisture
Terrain
Environmental interference
Search mode and operator technique
Two-Stage Search Method
The APEX 4D supports a practical two-stage exploration workflow.
1. Broad Remote Scanning
The operator performs a large-area scan to identify possible underground anomaly zones.
2. Fixed-Point Precise Exploration
After identifying a potential area, the operator approaches the location and performs a more focused scan to narrow the target coordinates and analyze the anomaly in greater detail.
This combination allows the system to be used for both large-scale reconnaissance and closer target investigation.
Multiple Scanning & Analysis Functions
The system incorporates several scanning and analysis functions, including:
Long Range Remote Scanning
3D Visual Imaging
4D Visual Analysis
Fixed-Point Precise Exploration
Multi-Material Classification
Magnetic Scanning
Thermal Scanning
Laser Positioning Assistance
Audio Signal Indication
Integrated Visual Target Analysis
These functions are designed to provide the operator with multiple methods of investigating and confirming potential underground anomalies.
Target Classification
The APEX 4D includes multiple selectable target categories.
According to the system information supplied for this model, available search categories include:
Gold
Placer Gold
Silver
Copper
All Metals
Porcelain / Ceramic
Underground Voids
Caves
Tunnels
Groundwater
Meteorites
Jade
Mineral Veins
Diamonds
Rubies
Turquoise
Agate
Additional mineral and underground material categories available within the system
This multi-category platform allows the operator to select a search mode according to the intended exploration objective.
Metal + Void + Mineral Exploration
Unlike systems intended exclusively for metallic targets, the APEX 4D is designed as a broader underground exploration platform.
Depending on the selected operating mode, the system can assist in investigating:
Metallic Targets
Gold
Silver
Copper
Precious metals
General metallic targets
Underground Structures
Cavities
Caves
Tunnels
Voids
Underground passages
Natural & Geological Targets
Mineral veins
Selected gemstones
Meteorite-related targets
Groundwater-related anomalies
Magnetic & Thermal Scanning
The APEX 4D incorporates magnetic and thermal scanning functions as additional methods for investigating underground anomalies.
These modes provide the operator with additional information that can be combined with the main visual imaging and long-range search functions when evaluating a potential target area.
Laser Positioning Assistance
The system also provides laser positioning assistance for close-range target investigation.
After a broad-area anomaly has been identified, the positioning function can assist the operator when narrowing and marking the area selected for more detailed examination.
Intelligent Signal Processing
The system is equipped with an intelligent electronic processing platform designed to analyze incoming scan information and support target classification.
The supplier describes the system as using high-sensitivity signal processing intended to improve target differentiation and reduce unwanted responses during field operation.
Integrated Professional Display
Unlike systems that require an external mobile phone or computer for basic field operation, the APEX 4D incorporates its own visual display directly into the main control unit.
This allows the operator to access scanning information, visual target data, depth functions and system controls directly from the device during field exploration.
Complex Terrain Operation
The APEX 4D is designed for portable field use across different environments, including:
Mountains
Forests
Hills
Open terrain
Rocky areas
Uneven ground
Large exploration areas
Its portable body and protective carrying system allow the complete unit to be transported between different search locations.
Power System
The system uses a rechargeable lithium power platform.
Working Voltage: 4.2 V
Stated operating time: approximately 24–48 hours, depending on operating conditions and system usage.
Actual operating time may vary according to screen usage, active search modes, environmental temperature and battery condition.
