Los Hermanos Pochtecah – Handel auf Augenhöhe
Über Jahrhunderte sind die Pochtecah Azteken durch die faszinierende Landschaft Oaxacas, dem fruchtbarem Chiapas Gebirge und dem tropischen Regenwald Yucatans gereist. Die Fernreisenden ermöglichten den Handel und Tausch zwischen den Land- und Stadtbewohner-innen über die Landesgrenzen Mexikos hinaus. Heute, mehr als sechshundert Jahre später, gründen

wir,Thierry und Loan, das Fair Trade Projekt Los Hermanos Pochtecah. Damit verwirklicht sich der Wunsch, ihre Beziehungen mit sozialen Organisationen in Mexiko sowie die familiären Wurzeln in Form einer nachhaltigen Zusammenarbeit miteinander zu verbinden. Wir legen besonderen Wert darauf, dass die Beziehungen mit den Kunsthandwerker-innen auf Augenhöhe stattfinden.
