Ever wonder what happens if you save $500 a month vs. invest it? 🤔 Here’s the breakdown for 5, 10, 15, and 20 years.

🛑 Savings: Steady, but flat.
🚀 Investing: Compounding does its thing.

Compounding (the interest on interest) is great when it comes to investing, but it doesn’t work in your favour all the time. When it comes to loans, the opposite thinking is needed, meaning hold it for as short as possible and get the smallest possible interest.

Look at the total interest cost and compare it to the price of the item:

Car Price: 25,000
Interest rate: 12%
Term: 6 years
Total interest: 10,190 (or 41% of the price!)

Ask yourself: Does it makes sense to pay 41% more for this car?
