The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial strategy, financial planning and analysis, financial reports, company audits, compliance, and investor relationships. They will collaborate with the CEO and the executive team to make decisions regarding the company's financial strategy and operations.

**Requirements**
- Proven experience in a relevant role.
- Strong finance-based financial acumen and analytical skills, and well connected to venture capitals.
- 7 - 10 years of finance, business, and fundraising (seed & pre-seed levels).experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master's Degree in Economics, Finance, accounting, Business Management, or related field highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and risk management practices.
- Experienced in financial modeling, financial statement analysis, and M&A.
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software is a plus.

**Key roles and responsibilities**
- Oversee cash flow, cash management, working capital, and company audits.
- Build and maintain relationships with VCs and investors.
- Set up and oversee the company’s financial documentation, and pitching to investors/VCs.
- Control and evaluate the organization’s fundraising plan and capital structure.
- Assess and evaluate financial performance with respect to the company's goals, budgets, and forecasts, and provide analysis to the CEO.
- Decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks.
- Develop financial & risk management plans including the company’s liabilities and investments.
- Prepare financial reports & statements and P&L.
- Supervise the compilation of financial data necessary for regular reports.
- Ensure legal compliance on all financial functions.
