A long-term study has found: Some construction defects in new buildings occur again and again. Some of these flaws and defects include the screed/pavement (floor covering/parquet of the house) not being ready yet for covering and still moist, the cellar being not tight, the building not being airtight, the façade showing cracks or the sound insulation being inferior.

To keep subsequent costs in check one should have a building surveyor close at hand!
