Czech e-shops had turnover of CZK 115 billion in 2017, 18% more year-on-year, in 2016 Czechs spent CZK 96 billion on the Internet. For the entire retail sector, online sales currently account for 10.5%.

The growth trend of e-commerce also reflects the increasing number of e-commerce stores. There are currently 9,300 in the Czech market, 9,000 in the last year. The number of e-shops alone increased by 10% year-on-year.
