Stock Control Officer – Limassol
Our client, a leading company in the Retail sector is looking for a high caliber Stock Control Officer.
Position’s Duties and Responsibilities
• Manages the company’s purchasing process with overseas suppliers by placing timely orders.
• Ensuring inventory is well managed, by organising cycle counts and stock takings.
• Communicates with sales departments and monitors stocks level based on market needs and trends.
• Cooperate with forwarding agents for timely, cost-efficient shipping and collection of company’s orders.
• Prepares costings in collaboration with the management and accounting department.
• Make proposals, for the improvement of company’s procedures and cost efficiency.
• Prepares reports relative to the achievement of sales and monitors related inventory budgeted level.
• Participates in the Management Review Procedure.
• Identifies the non-conformities of the department and determines corrective actions.
• Any other job that the Management can assign him/her with and is not included in the above duties.
Position’s Requirements
• Holding a university Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any other related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a related position
• Fluency in English and Greek, other language would be deemed as an advantage
• Proficient user of computer systems
• Good problem-solving and numerical skills
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Pleasant personality and discreet
• Honest, trustworthy and to be able to work well in teams
• Meet deadlines
