The T.D.59 “Claim for Allowances” form for the 2026 tax year has been published by the Cyprus Tax Department and is now available for employers and employees (in Greek only).

➡️ What is this form:
T.D.59 is used by employees to declare income details and any personal allowances or deductions that affect their tax situation — so employers can calculate accurate monthly tax withholdings.

📢 Cyprus Tax Reform Approved – Effective 1 January 2026

On 22 December 2025 the Cyprus Parliament approved key legislative changes introducing one of the most significant tax reforms in recent years.

Overall, the reform seeks to enhance fairness and competitiveness while ensuring full alignment with OECD/EU standards, thereby strengthening our country's position as a leading business and investment destination.

Key changes:
🔹SDC on dividends for Cyprus-domiciled individuals reduced to 5%
🔹Deemed Dividend Distribution abolished
🔹Corporate tax increases to 15%
🔹Tax loss carry-forward extended from 5 to 7 years
🔹SDC on Rental Income abolished
🔹Personal tax-free threshold rises to €22,000
🔹New income tax brackets & enhanced family-focused deductions
🔹8% tax on crypto gains
🔹Extended R&D super-deduction (120%) until 2030
