The third party liability cover of the Insured for driving any other vehicle (excluding motorcycles) of the same type as the insured Vehicle not belonging to him, his employer or a member of his household, and is not hired (under a hire purchase agreement or otherwise) by the Insured or by any business associate and employer, whilst driving anywhere in Cyprus where the government of the Republic of Cyprus exercises effective control. Cover is allowed provided that there is no insurance policy in force which covers the Insured for third party liability and/or the said vehicle does not maintain third party motor insurance. This extension of cover of the insured is applicable only when the vehicle’s insurance is not covering the insured to drive it.

The legal liability cover of the Insured and any Authorized Driver in case of an accident caused by or arising out of the use of the Insured Motor Vehicle within the Geographical area as specified in the Policy, against all sums including claimant’s costs, interest and expenses, which shall become legally liable to pay in respect to:

(b) Emergency

Βασικοί κανόνες ασφαλούς οδήγησης:

- Βεβαιωνόμαστε ότι το αυτοκίνητό μας είναι κατάλληλο για να ταξιδέψουμε.
- Δεν ξεχνάμε ποτέ τη ζώνη ασφαλείας για εμάς και τους συνεπιβάτες μας.
- Προστατεύουμε τα παιδιά στα ειδικά παιδικά καθίσματα και ενεργοποιούμε τις παιδικές ασφάλειες στις πίσω πόρτες του αυτοκινήτου.
- Ασφαλίζουμε τα πίσω ηλεκτρικά παράθυρα του αυτοκινήτου όταν έχουμε παιδιά.
- Αποφεύγουμε να τοποθετούμε βαριά η αιχμηρά αντικείμενα στο πίσω μέρος του αυτοκινήτου (εταζιέρα).
- Χρησιμοποιούμε το κινητό τηλέφωνο μόνο όταν έχουμε σταματήσει δεξιά του δρόμου.
- Δεν πίνουμε αλκοόλ πριν οδηγήσουμε.
- Οδηγούμε ήρεμοι και παραχωρούμε προτεραιότητα.
- Συμμορφωνόμαστε με τα όρια ταχύτητας.
- Κρατάμε τις αποστάσεις από τα προπορευόμενα οχήματα.
- Δίνουμε την ίδια προσοχή σε όλες τις διαδρομές ανεξαρτήτου απόστασης.
- Σεβόμαστε πεζούς και ποδηλάτες. Ο δρόμος δεν μας ανήκει.
- Κάνουμε συχνές στάσεις για να ξεκουραστούμε και δεν οδηγούμε εξαντλημένοι.
