Changing societal behaviour is tough. It is a slow-burning project that a little company like Again Again can and does contribute to, but we are just one tiny strand in a big picture. Over the years, we have invested heavily into this contribution with social media campaigns, and we are proud of the momentum that we have seen in this movement, without being able to truly claim it as the result of just our investment.

You may have noticed that our social media presence has pulled back in recent months, and this is a conscious action. Like all companies, we need to ensure we get the best return on our efforts, and we have come to understand that investing into behaviour change via our own social media channels may not be it.

Rest assured though that our efforts continue. We are now deploying our events cup solution in the Bay of Plenty. We are supporting our delivery partners in Hawkes Bay and Christchurch do the same. And we have the next tranche of innovation in development - it is really exciting, but not ready to unveil!

Reuse around the world is growing. But in Aotearoa, this right-wing government has dismantled and repealed most of the proposed legislation that was in the pipeline to support a circular economy for packaging. The EPR scheme remains in development, but with reuse taken off the table before planning even started, that is unlikely to support the change we are working towards. Nonetheless , we see large corporations increasingly engaged in the kaupapa and Again Again is excited to be supporting a number of projects led by such organisations.

Our social media channels are quiet, but the work continues, and the energy is still right there supporting the future of reuse in New Zealand. Stand by.

How Tauranga’s vibrant Holi celebration is bringing communities together! If you want to have a new outlook on life with enthusiasm, leave negative emotions behind, AND get coloured by friends and community, you want to be at Holi Colour Splash 2025.

Here at Again Again, we are especially thrilled that this year, as Holi is making their event single-use cup free!!. Lassis will be served in Again Again's reusable cups - returned and then we will wash them... ready for the next event. Woo hoo - fun times, less impact.

You CAN bring your own cup, or you can BORROW one of ours for a $2 charge. Return it and you will get $1 back.

AND... you can scan the cup back in for a chance to win more Holi colour.

We were as thrilled as this guy (Thanks, !) to finally have our Again Again reusable cups out in the wild, and supporting the wonderful to go single-use cup free. Woo hoo!!

It's been a long time coming, and now Again Again, in collaboration with can service your Bay of Plenty event with reusable cups. We have set up a wash and reprocessing system in Mount Maunganui and look forward to bringing the Bay events into reuse for the future. Lookout.

We try hard to only deliver good news, but the breakdown of talks at the fifth U.N. Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee (INC-5) meeting in Busan, South Korea is too important to overlook. These talks were meant to be the final of five, and they were intended to yield a legally binding global treaty, however negotiators working on the treaty to address the global crisis of plastic pollution didn't reach an agreement and now plan to resume the talks next year.

They are at an impasse over whether the treaty should reduce the total plastic on Earth and put global, legally binding controls on toxic chemicals used to make plastics. A small number of petrochemical-producing nations, such as Saudi Arabia, have strongly opposed efforts to reduce plastic production and have tried to use procedural tactics to delay negotiations.

At a time when the world needs coordinated responses, this is indeed a disappointing outcome. Big oil wins again.
