Zhongshan Guzhen Lighting Inspection Agency-ZUOLA/VMAX/INMI
Our Guzhen inspection agency serves foreign trade buyers and domestic engineering clients, specializing in LED chandeliers, ceiling lights, wall lamps, floor lamps, outdoor courtyard lights, crystal chandeliers, panel lights, and lighting accessories such as drivers and power supplies. We conduct on-site inspections at factories or warehouses in Guzhen according to AQL sampling standards or customized client requirements, offering three main service categories: basic inspection items, phased inspection types, and value-added support services.
1. Standard Pre-Shipment Final Inspection (PSI – Most Common Basic Service)
1. Document and Quantity Verification
- Verify purchase order (PI), packing list, and confirmed samples to confirm model, specifications, voltage (110V/220V), and light source parameters;
- Randomly open boxes and count quantities to prevent shortages or mixed models;
- Check outer carton markings, model numbers, gross/net weight, origin labels, and barcodes for accuracy against requirements.
2. Packaging Inspection
- Evaluate outer cardboard strength, moisture resistance, and crush protection markings; inspect inner packaging including bubble wrap, foam, and thermoformed protective materials;
- Check color box printing, labels, parameter stickers, logo quality, and language correctness (English/multilingual);
- Count accessories—screws, mounting plates, remotes, drivers, power cords, instruction manuals, warranty cards—to ensure no missing or incorrect components.
3. Appearance and Structural Inspection (Key Focus for Lighting Products)
- Metal lamp bodies: check for color variation, scratches, paint peeling, rust spots, or deformation from plating or spraying;
- Acrylic/glass lampshades: inspect for cracks, bubbles, scratches, or light transmission defects; examine crystal edges for chipping and color differences;
- Assembly tightness: check for loose arms, bases, joints, excessive gaps, or misalignment;
- Power cord specifications, length, and plug type must meet requirements;
- Visually verify sharp edges and electrical safety features (anti-electrocution design).
4. Electrical Function Testing (Mandatory)
- Power-on test to check for non-illumination, flickering, or dark areas;
- Test dimming, color temperature adjustment, remote control, Bluetooth, and smart functions;
- Measure actual power consumption and compare with rated values to identify overstatement;
- Preliminary visual flicker check (verified via smartphone video recording).
5. Dimensional Measurement
- Use calipers to measure overall dimensions (length, width, height), installation hole spacing, and bulb base types (e.g., E27/GU10), comparing against drawings or confirmed samples.
6. On-Site Evidence Collection and Reporting
- Take photos and videos throughout the inspection process to document defects;
- Issue a Chinese/English inspection report upon completion, detailing defective quantity, defect classification (critical, major, minor), and final batch pass/fail status, serving as a basis for negotiations with manufacturers.
