How can we say no to robots competing in professional battles? 🦾

We had a chance to experience Battlebots in Vegas recently. Platinum Club seats will grant you early entry with a great view, and the contestants actually come over to interact with you. You get a private hostess and table service with complimentary snacks too.

Personally, I felt the area to our left (section B and C when you’re buying tickets) got more of the action though.

We also had a post-show backstage tour to see the fighting robots up close, and discounts on all the merch, which was nice!

A lot of people might not know this about me, but I love piano, so I was thrilled that I got to visit Beethoven-Haus in Bonn during my recent trip to Germany.

Originally the birthplace of Beethoven, it’s now a small museum filled with original manuscripts, personal instruments, and portraits and stories about one of history’s greatest composers and musicians.

There are also two other museums in Vienna, but this one in Bonn has the largest collection. Worth a visit for every classical music enthusiast or if you simply enjoy places with rich history. 🎶

How fast can we go on the German Autobahn in a 9-seater van driven by a NASCAR racer? 🚗💨

The German Autobahn, a massive 13,000+ kilometer highway, generally has no speed limits (with strict regulations of course), and we managed to hit around 183km/h safely with 8 of us in the van.

One of the coolest and most exhilarating experiences at Gunship Helicopters in Las Vegas. Signed up for the Battle Buddy package with my brother and got to shoot their Door Gunner while in a helicopter.

Apparently they’re recognized as being among the top 10% of attractions worldwide by Tripadvisor. Truly one for the books! 😎 Completely worth it, although you really only need to visit once.

A few snippets from magician Mat Franco’s (from America’s Got Talent) show at The LINQ in Las Vegas. Apparently he never puts on the same show twice, especially since he includes a lot of crowd-guided improv in his magic acts. If you’re looking to see a magic show in Vegas, definitely check him out!

Managed to fit in a meal at White Castle while we were in Vegas, the very first fast food hamburger chain in the world since 1921. You can get a slider for a dollar, and they’re 100% steamed and not fried. Plus they also have root beer (my favorite), so bonus points there.

Found a cool space in Vegas just off the Strip that’s like a literal fever dream, AREA15. It’s full of neon corridors, surreal worlds, and otherworldly exhibits. Super immersive and interactive, honestly feels like you’re in an entirely different world and time.

Definitely a place you should check out the next time you’re in Vegas, especially if you like art installations, trippy visuals, and one-of-a-kind memorabilia to bring home as souvenirs (the mega mart has the weirdest things). 🤯
