Recently, the foreign aid business of CEEDI under SDIC has achieved another milestone, by winning the bid for the China-aided Port Vila Road Upgrade and Renovation Project (Vanuatu). This marks its first successful bid since obtaining new municipal engineering qualifications for foreign aid projects, representing a crucial breakthrough for CEEDI in the municipal sector of foreign aid and further expanding its scope of foreign aid business.

By upgrading road infrastructure and optimizing the urban transportation network, the project will substantially raise the municipal construction standards of Port Vila, Vanuatu’s capital. Serving as a key platform for deepening bilateral friendly cooperation between China and Vanuatu, the project fully demonstrates China’s sense of responsibility and commitment in foreign assistance and enhances the brand image of China’s foreign aid initiatives.

Recently, at the Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards (AREA) 2026 Ceremony, Chuangguan Thailand, a Thailand-based holding investment enterprise of Xinyuan Energy under SDIC Group, stood out among numerous participating enterprises across Asia and claimed three AREA awards for the second consecutive year: the Social Empowerment Award, Green Leadership Award, and Health Promotion Award. Meanwhile, at an International Day Against Drug Abuse themed event hosted by the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare of Thailand, Chuangguan Thailand was conferred the Honorary Certificate and Medal of Model Enterprise in recognition of its standardized management in internal drug prevention and control, employee care, and fulfillment of corporate social responsibility.

Shurui, a portfolio enterprise of SDIC Innovation under SDIC Group, has successfully finished the first commercial deployment of its self-developed snake-armed single-port surgical robot at München Klinik Bogenhausen, a major core public hospital in Munich, Germany, with multiple clinical procedures performed afterward.
This market entry marks the landing of China’s independently developed single-port surgical robot in Europe’s high-end medical care market, fully demonstrating the technological achievements and global commercialization capacity of "Made in China, Innovated in China" in the cutting-edge minimal-invasive surgery sector worldwide.

Recently, YAPP Automotive Systems Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of SDIC Group, was awarded GM’s global Supplier of the Year award for the first time. Over the years, YAPP has followed GM’s global expansion in India, Oceania, and North America, and has transformed from a domestic Chinese supplier into a multinational partner.
This award is a testament to YAPP’s outstanding performance. To date, the company has delivered approximately 1.8 million fuel system assemblies to GM Brazil. Strongly recommended by GM Brazil’s business unit, YAPP stood out in this global selection process and ultimately won the Supplier of the Year award.

Recently, the SDIC Group's Nong Khaem Waste-to-Energy Project in Bangkok has gained significant media attention for its outstanding performance in green energy and environmental governance. Xinhua News Agency has been providing continuous coverage of the project's progress in English, Chinese, and Thai, while nearly 40 major Thai media outlets, including Thai PBS, Prachachat, and Bangkokbiznews, have also reported on the project simultaneously. The Nong Khaem Waste-to-Energy Project applies waste incineration and power generation technologies combined with environmental protection measures, deeply integrating Chinese technology with local Thai regulations and public concerns. Through initiatives such as fully enclosed negative pressure systems, AI-powered "electronic noses," and 24-hour noise monitoring, the project has effectively responded to public concerns about environmental protection. It has also achieved positive results in alleviating Bangkok's waste crisis, reducing landfill pollution, and promoting the use of green energy.

Recently, the SDIC Anu Municipal Solid Waste Incineration Power Project achieved its first grid connection, with clean electricity officially integrated into Thailand's national power grid. As a critical environmental infrastructure in Bangkok, the project has a daily domestic waste treatment capacity of 1,400 tonnes and an installed capacity of 35 MW.

Faced with a long-standing trust crisis among surrounding communities, the project team spent six years implementing a series of initiatives, including full-coverage communication with 93 communities, distribution of over 2,000 questionnaires, on-site visits by 1,806 residents, large-scale environmental impact assessment hearings, 22 small-scale hearings during the sprint period, and the first-ever public open day. These efforts resulted in "zero complaints, zero protests, and zero obstruction" throughout the entire process from the entry of the first waste truck to grid connection, successfully transforming "intractable community conflicts" into "peace of mind in the eyes of neighbors".
