Birds are often seen flying over the project site. Sometimes they land on the open ground. Sometimes they cross the sky in flocks.
Our people have long been used to their presence — and to the wind and sunlight here. The project moves forward as scheduled. The landscape remains as it always was.
This is an ordinary day for us overseas — and a true reflection of how we integrate into local communities. Wherever we go, we simply do our best on every project.

The World Cup has just come to a close, and the final is still fresh in our minds. It reminded us of another match — a friendly at the Payra 1320MW Thermal Power Plant.
Our young engineers took on students from Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET). On the pitch, language was never a barrier — Chinese, English, Bengali, even hand gestures — all worked to get the message across. After the game, both sides sat down together, talking about studies, careers, and daily life on the project, until the sky turned dark.
Sometimes it is not about winning or losing a game, but about the connections made in those 90 minutes.

Beyond work, striving together, sweating together, laughing together — that’s teamwork at its most natural.

“Working at the Payra Power Plant, I watch the equipment run and the electricity flow every day. This place brings together the efforts of Bangladeshi and Chinese colleagues, and carries the future of energy cooperation between our two countries.”
These are the words of a female employee at 's Payra 1320 MW Ultra-Supercritical Power Plant. After work, she often stands in the distance with her child in her arms, looking at the plant — a place that generates power and brings change to her hometown.
She said that every effort we make today is building a brighter tomorrow for the next generation.
This is her story, and it is the everyday reality for many at the plant.

On June 14, the first two turbines of the Black Peak 150 MW Wind Power Project in Serbia were successfully connected to the grid.
Jointly funded by and S**C Shanghai Electric Power, the project is the first wind project invested by Chinese companies in Serbia, and the largest mountain wind project under construction in the Balkans. The 84-meter blades were the largest ever transported in Central and Eastern Europe.
The project team is now advancing the installation and commissioning of the remaining turbines as the project is moving steadily toward full-capacity grid connection. The project is expected to generate approximately 480 million kWh of electricity annually once fully operational.
