Meet Lv Xiaohao, a wind power engineer at the Ivovik 84 MW Wind Power Project in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He is responsible for turbine maintenance and on-site technical management. When he first arrived, he spent his days studying drawings, learning from teammates, and getting to know the equipment up close. Now, watching the turbines turn against the mountain skyline has become one of his most unforgettable memories overseas.
Off duty, you’ll find him hiking, climbing, or camping—soaking up local life among the hills and under the stars. A taste for challenge and discovery runs through both his work and his downtime.
This is the second in our series on young colleagues working overseas. More stories to come. Stay tuned.

🏔️On the International Day of Clean Air for blue skies, we turn to 's 150 MW Black Peak Wind Power Project in Serbia — currently the largest mountain wind power project under construction in the Balkans. Harnessing the region’s mountain winds, the project is designed to generate green electricity and bring more clean energy into the local power mix.💨⚡

The first story in our series on young colleagues working overseas follows Wang Jiebing’s journey at the MTBE Project in Algeria.
From engineering teams to supplier factories, she keeps materials moving and arriving on schedule. Language barriers, urgent requests, long hours — that's her daily reality. Her engineering background gave her a head start, helping her get procurement from day one.
Off-duty, you'll find her along the Mediterranean coast — walking, recharging, staying ready for whatever comes next.
Every journey brings new opportunities for growth and discovery. We’d love to hear about your experiences.

From the classroom to project sites, the first 21 participants in 's "Zhuoyu" Program are taking part in rotational training in .
Working in 6 teams, they are gaining hands-on experience across projects including the Sirajganj 68MW Solar Power Plant Project, the Pabna 64MW Solar Park Project, the Payra 2×660MW Ultra-Supercritical Power Plant Project, the Dhaka-Ashulia Elevated Expressway Project, and substation projects.
Guided by mentors, they learn about project delivery, commercial coordination, and local engagement, gaining hands-on experience on site.

Birds are often seen flying over the project site. Sometimes they land on the open ground. Sometimes they cross the sky in flocks.
Our people have long been used to their presence — and to the wind and sunlight here. The project moves forward as scheduled. The landscape remains as it always was.
This is an ordinary day for us overseas — and a true reflection of how we integrate into local communities. Wherever we go, we simply do our best on every project.

"I hope that through China-Bangladesh cooperation, more young people in Bangladesh can find quality jobs..." This is what Mominul Islam truly hopes for. Mominul has worked on the Sirajganj Combined Cycle Power Plant Project for thirteen years.

A job opens doors, but a skill builds a career ✨. For Mominul in , it all started with a job at the Sirajganj 225MW Combined Cycle Power Plant Project ⚡, undertaken by Genertec. Through years of hands-on learning 📚 alongside Chinese technical staff, he has grown from a young man with little technical experience into a skilled electrical maintenance worker 🌱. Mominul is not alone. Ongoing local training programs are creating new pathways for young people to develop skills and build their futures 💡.

Today marks Beginning of Autumn. After a season of growth, nature is ready to bear fruit.
The same goes for — from clean energy to sustainable infrastructure, every effort eventually becomes reliable power and long-lasting facilities. Season has its harvest. Engineering does too.

A group photo, people from different countries standing together. Different languages, but they share the same beautiful smile.
Sometimes friendship is this simple — standing together, looking in the same direction.

The World Cup has just come to a close, and the final is still fresh in our minds. It reminded us of another match — a friendly at the Payra 1320MW Thermal Power Plant.
Our young engineers took on students from Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET). On the pitch, language was never a barrier — Chinese, English, Bengali, even hand gestures — all worked to get the message across. After the game, both sides sat down together, talking about studies, careers, and daily life on the project, until the sky turned dark.
Sometimes it is not about winning or losing a game, but about the connections made in those 90 minutes.
