From Circuits to Currencies: The Journey of a Young Electrical Engineer
Fresh out of university at the age of 23, armed with a degree in electrical engineering and an insatiable curiosity for innovation, I found myself drawn not just to wires and schematics, but to the dynamic world of finance. While my classmates pursued careers in traditional engineering roles, I took a different path—one paved with charts, candlesticks, and the fast-paced pulse of the forex market.
What began as a side hustle quickly turned into a full-blown obsession. I taught myself the intricacies of currency trading, mastering strategies, risk management, and technical analysis. Then came crypto volatile, promising, and ripe with opportunity. I discovered arbitrage trading, where I could leverage price differences across platforms for consistent profits. It was a game of speed, precision, and calculated risk much like engineering, just with digital assets instead of circuits.
With the income I generated, I took a bold leap into the physical world of business. I invested in a local restaurant Le Continent Grillades & Saveurs a completely new venture, but one that combined my passion for business with the desire to create something tangible. From trading desks to dining tables, my entrepreneurial journey has been anything but conventional. But every step, every chart analyzed, every dish served has been a testament to the power of taking risks, trusting your instincts, and building something from the ground up.
