𝐀 𝐦𝐚𝐣𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 Frieda Health 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞-𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡. 🚀

We are incredibly proud to see Frieda Health, one of our Venture Companies, reach an important milestone: Frieda Menova is now officially available as a DiGA, a digital health application on prescription in Germany.

What started with a clear conviction, that women going through menopause deserve better, evidence-based care, has now made its way into standard healthcare.
Frieda Menova can now be prescribed by doctors and psychotherapists for menopausal symptoms and is fully reimbursed by Germany’s statutory health insurance system.
And behind that regulatory milestone is strong clinical evidence.
In a randomized controlled study with 100 women, around 70% of Frieda Menova users achieved a clinically meaningful improvement in the burden of hot flashes and night sweats after twelve weeks, compared with 30% in the control group. Improvements were also observed in sleep quality and overall menopausal symptoms, with the results published in the scientific journal: Maturitas Journal Updates.

This is exactly the kind of progress we want to see across the longevity ecosystem: science translated into solutions, solutions validated through evidence, and evidence ultimately reaching people through the healthcare system.

Building a regulated healthcare product is rarely a straight line. It requires persistence, clinical rigor, regulatory discipline and an exceptional team behind it.

The partnership is a natural fit. Tennis demonstrates what longevity is ultimately about: sustaining physical and mental performance over time through movement, recovery, nutrition and healthy habits.
Research supports this connection. The 2018 Copenhagen City Heart Study found that playing tennis was associated with a 9.7-year increase in life expectancy compared with a sedentary lifestyle, the highest result among the sports examined.
