Our job as traders is to initiate a response from what the markets show, and then execute, yet we often remain naive to the reality that the markets are executing responses based off of us.
Human psychology and financial markets are a complex interconnected web. Market’s move based on our thoughts and emotions, as a result, we then make decisions based on the thoughts and emotions those movements create.
Financial markets are not a direct correlation or representation towards the direct value of an asset. After all, value derives from our own beliefs and perception.
Fiat currencies are merely a piece of paper, or, pixels on a screen without sufficient belief and trust placed in the agreeable value.
Cryptocurrencies are the same. To some, a single Bitcoin could be worth $1M, whilst to others, it may be entirely worthless.
Many are quick to blame the markets for when things go wrong, but the truth is, the markets are nothing more than a reflection of ourselves.
When you’re not seeing the results you desire from the markets, the quickest way to see a shift towards success is to take a look within and evaluate how the market’s impact you from an emotional standpoint.
You cannot tackle a highly emotional market with more emotions. That’s the definition of adding fuel to the 🔥
