Welcome to the green blockchain. 🌱

Cryptos are often decried because of their carbon footprint, as mining consumes a lot of energy. This is a fact! ⚡

But today let's salute the effort of the Cordano Foundation. Thanks to its engineers and academics, it has developed a blockchain that uses much less energy, using a "proof-of-stake" (PoS) algorithm, which is considered to be more environmentally friendly than the proof-of-work (PoW) of Bitcoin, for example. 🤓

Cordana has also teamed up with , which uses blockchain for its reforestation projects. You know which tree has been planted, where and by whom. Everything is transparent. 🧐

The platform runs a "Cardano forest" where users can donate Cardano (ADA) tokens in exchange for limited edition TREE tokens. 🌲

For each ADA exchanged Veritree plants a tree. The Cordana forest already has over a million trees planted! And the projects continue. 🥳

What about the TREE tokens? They can be exchanged for NFTs, including trees.

Gregaard said the Foundation is now looking to support land restoration in Mombasa, Kenya.

Charles Hoskinson repeatedly emphasised that social responsibility is one of the main objectives of the project. The Cardano is currently being used to revamp the Ethiopian education system. 🙏

In fact, it's quite simple 🤓

Given that these altcoins saw significant growth at the end of 2021, particularly Terra and Polygon in December, a price correction was to be expected.

This is called a market clean-up. Basically the market is liquidating positions in the future. 🧽

This is not interesting in the short term, but can be interesting in the long term.

Overall, it has been a slow start to the year in terms of prices, but with the increasing adoption of crypto-currencies by institutions, we expect 2022 to be just as positive as 2021.

Don't be afraid and take advantage of this downturn to get started!
