DUKASCOIN LISTING AT ZBX EXCHANGE

Dukascopy Bank is glad to announce a new external listing of Dukascoin. Since Wednesday, April 1, Dukascoin tokens will be available for trading on the marketplace of ZBX exchange.

ZBX will start listing Dukascoin against USDT in the very beginning followed by other pairs upon growth in interest and demand. In addition, ZBX exchange will become the first trading venue offering its users an external participation in Dukascoin staking program. Any holder of DUK+ on the side of ZBX will be able to apply for either Coin reward staking or Fiat reward staking fully remotely. Important eligibility criteria for the participation in staking will be the requirement to open and maintain a Multi-Currency Account (MCA) at Dukascopy Bank. After the staking period, the Bank will transfer the reward to the DUK+ holder's personal MCA account. At any point in time during the holding period, a user will be able to track his coins and the reward both in the interface of his MCA account and in the personal area of ZBX exchange.

28th of February, 2020 Dukascopy Bank SA is proud to celebrate the first anniversary of the Dukascoin project. One year ago, we have officially launched the first payment crypto coin issued for public use by a licensed and regulated Swiss bank. Today it’s time to look back and observe the way the project evolved during the first year.

First of all, we would like to accentuate the fact that the Dukascoin project significantly differs from any other offered to the audience so far. Sustainable gains of the Dukascoin in November

Last week, the DUK+/EUR rate surged in a sharper than expected angle. It reached the 1.3900 level already on Wednesday. On that day, sell orders at 1.3900 and 1.4000 managed to stop the surge.

This week, on Tuesday, the Dukascoin was consolidating its gains, as traders were taking profits from the surge.

In regards to the near term future, it was expected that the rate would search for firm support over parity to EUR to resume the surge. This scenario already occurred at the start of November, when the 1.1000 high level was reached and followed by a decline.

On the daily candle chart, it can be observed that the rate might find support in the 1.12-1.13 zone. In regards to the future, the rate's most likely scenario is a rebound from the 1.12-1.13 zone. Dukascoin demand SKYROCKETS in July!

On Friday, July 26, the price of the Swiss regulated crypto token Dukascoin fluctuated above the 1.50 EUR mark. The currency exchange rate surged to this level from 0.60 EUR last month. Namely, there was a 155% jump of the price.

There were a number of factors that triggered the move, such as adding the currency to the Swiss Crypto Exchange SCX that majorly increased demand for the currency.

In the meantime, major cryptocurrencies traded with high volatility and lost value. Bitcoin made two hype-fueled surges above the 13,000.00 level, which were followed by a decline. By July 26, BTC had lost 6.80%.

In the meantime, ETH has plummeted by 36.56% from the June hype-high level.

In addition, note that the top crypto prices are in USD, which has been declining due to the expectations of the US Federal Reserve Rate cut that is set to increase the supply of the USD. Namely, the purchasing power of the cryptocurrencies decreased even more than indicated by the charts.
