As part of the Generali TogetHER Week 2026, we hosted a panel discussion at Generali Switzerland on diversity and inclusion in times of transformation.
Together with our panel participants Vithusanth Srikantharupan (Strategy & Change Coordination Insurance Specialist), Deborah Bass (Head of Communications & Public Affairs), Eliana Sarli (Chief Financial Officer), Laszlo C. (Head of Advanced Analytics & Data Governance), as well as our Chief People & Organization Officer Anne-France Epelbaum, we discussed what inclusion truly means in everyday working life.
🔍 Key takeaways from the panel:
-Inclusion thrives on authenticity, not on copying existing role models. Differences are assets, not disadvantages.
-Active listening is an often underestimated leadership skill.
-Inclusion is, above all, about mutual support (allyship) across all dimensions.
🦁 Culture in action: our Generali behaviours collaboration, human touch, ownership and better every day came to life through dialogue.
The discussion highlighted how essential diversity is. We need workplaces where people feel safe to share their perspectives. A strong culture is built when learning is encouraged and mistakes are accepted as part of development. This is how better decisions are made.
Thank you to everyone involved for this valuable exchange. 💜
