As I approach my 60th birthday, I find myself feeling deeply grateful—for a life rich with love, opportunity, learning, and adventure. Rather than gifts or lunches, I felt called to give back. I’m entering a season where I have the capacity to create impact—and to truly feel the beauty of doing so.
That’s why I’m supporting the Jane Goodall Institute of Canada.
While Jane’s extraordinary work with chimpanzees is what first captured the world’s attention, her legacy is about so much more. It’s about hope, responsibility, and the belief that every one of us matters. As Dr. Jane Goodall famously said, “What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.”
Today, the Jane Goodall Institute amplifies and scales community-led action to create a world where animals, people, and the environment thrive together. Rooted in Jane’s message of hope through action, the Institute inspires each of us to recognize our individual power to make a difference.
If you choose to join me in this small but meaningful act of generosity, know that it comes with deep gratitude and love.
