🚀 Youth Entrepreneurship (YEP) Grant & Mentorship Program is now open for applications!

Are you a Red River Métis youth entrepreneur (29 and under) who has been in business for less than two years? Or an established business owner interested in mentoring the next generation?

The upcoming cohort will run April to October 2026 and includes:
✔️ A six-month, one-on-one mentorship partnership
✔️ Mentees receive a $3,000 participation grant to support their business
✔️ Mentors receive a $1,000 honorarium for sharing their knowledge and experience

🗓 Deadline to apply: March 12 at 4:30 PM

Meet Oliver’s Audiology Professionals, a female, family-owned and operated private clinic dedicated to comprehensive hearing and balance care in Manitoba.

Their team offers a range of services including comprehensive hearing tests, hearing aid fitting and dispensing, earwax removal, and advanced diagnostic testing for dizziness and balance concerns. Their clinic was founded in honour of their mother, with the goal of creating a welcoming space that prioritizes compassionate, patient-centered care.

With support from the Louis Riel Capital Corporation, Oliver’s Audiology Professionals was able to turn their vision into reality through start-up funding and access to valuable community resources. Today, they continue to grow their presence in the community while helping improve the lives of those they serve.

They say one of their biggest milestones so far has been building community visibility and hearing firsthand about the positive impact their services have had on people’s lives. As they continue to grow, they hope to expand their outreach to the greater Winnipeg area and surrounding communities.

Their advice to other Red River Métis entrepreneurs is to lean on the strength of the community. The support, knowledge, and resources available can help take your business beyond your own expectations, and there is a strong network ready to see Métis businesses thrive.
