Friendly reminder: September 1 means reduced speed zones are now in effect around schools in Winnipeg. Keep your speed to 30 km/h max during the hours marked and stay alert for more pedestrians and cyclists in the area as school starts back up.

Outside of Winnipeg, always follow the speed indicated on signs in designated school zones.

We've recently become aware of another phishing text scam targeting MPI customers.

These messages may look convincing, but their goal is to obtain your personal or financial information.

Before you click, remember:

❌ Don't open links in unexpected text messages
❌ Don't provide personal information
✅ Verify directly with MPI if you're uncertain

MPI will never ask for confidential information by text or email.

MPI was thrilled to be at RRC Polytech today to announce a $1.2 million donation of specialized collision repair tools and technology for the college's Collision Repair and Refinishing Program.

This donation will make a significant impact on students of the program and contribute to a strong, sustainable auto repair industry across Manitoba.

We were happy to celebrate today's news at the college's Collision Repair Centre with Matt Wiebe and Renée for Southdale along with MPI and RRC Polytech's Board Chairs and CEOs, members of the repair industry as well as students and instructors.

Students will begin training with the new equipment in the fall to help them develop their skills and prepare for successful careers in the repair trade.
