Today we recognize International Overdose Awareness Day, a day that calls on communities around the world to remember those we have lost, challenge stigma, and take meaningful action to prevent overdose. This year's theme, "25 Years On. Still Needed.", reflects an unfortunate reality: for far too many communities, the need for awareness, compassion, and action remains as urgent as ever.

Thankfully, overdosing is highly preventable and there are many resources to help individuals, families and communities support those affected. Healing journeys are never linear; if you or someone you know needs help don't be afraid to reach out.

We have a number of confidential and culturally sensitive resources in our TIPI Care Plan.
