There is three basic services that result from our experience and knowledge of valuations:

Business Valuations – Queenston has a proprietary process to value businesses in our sector. We have identified 10 categories and 25 variables that are examined and weighted to arrive at a multiple we use with Owner’s Discretionary Earnings. We have two levels of valuations – the Opinion Letter is a 4 or 5

page report plus spreadsheets whereby we consolidate and value quantitative and qualitative information provided by the company to arrive at nominal value. In addition we do a more comprehensive valuation where we work from source documents and personal interviews to do a 12 - 15 page report. See Services section for more information. Consulting Projects – Queenston uses our experience of valuations and knowing the value drivers of successful businesses in our industry. We work with our clients in identifying the areas that can increase their businesses value. This could be developing a business plan and/or marketing plan designed to increase the value. In addition, we will do a Continuation Plan and/or Succession Plan in conjunction with an effective Exit Strategy. Mergers and Acquisitions – Queenston has done more deals in the micro-cap area of the financial product distribution industry than anyone in Canada. We know what businesses buy/ sell/merge for in Canada. We will work with clients to initiate these transitions. Our experience in this sector is unparalleled.
