Arctic Fresh Group of Companies together with Growcer Inc. has been awarded a contract from the Canadian Space Agency to create all-season portable indoor fruit and vegetable farms. And, while the goal is to find a way to provide food during long distance space flights, this project could help create food security and more affordable produce across Nunavut.
