Your cozy weekend assignment, no spreadsheet required. ๐Ÿ‚โ˜•

So much money stress comes from not looking, and the not-looking part makes it feel a lot scarier than it actually is.

So this weekend, we're not fixing anything. We're just saying hi! ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿผ

Make yourself a nice drink, get cozy, and open one account.
Look for 60 seconds. That's it!
This is how we teach our nervous system that money isn't a threat and is okay to spend time with.

Small, cozy, and doable.
Try it and let me know how it feels. ๐Ÿ’›

When everyone's talking about the market, it's easy to feel like you're falling behind if you're not investing yet. But jumping in before you're ready can cost you more than waiting.

Two things to check first:

๐Ÿ’ณ High-interest debt. If you're carrying a balance at 10%+, paying it down is a guaranteed return saving you that 10%. It's hard to guarantee investments will consistently beat that.

๐Ÿ›Ÿ An emergency fund. Markets go up and down. If an unexpected expense hits when your investments are down and you have no savings, you may be forced to sell at a loss. A nest egg can cover the emergency and gives your investments time to recover.

Investing isn't a race. The strongest plans are built on a solid foundation first.

๐Ÿ“Œ Save this for next time the FOMO kicks in.

Retirement planning is often treated like a guessing game. But I can see why when nobody actually walks you through the moving parts to find YOUR number.

What will your lifestyle cost?
How long will the money need to last?
What does the tax bill look like?

These are questions that help decide, and they're worth answering before you retire, not after. ๐Ÿ˜‰

๐Ÿ”— If you'd rather not guess, you can book a free consult with the link in my bio and we'll work through your real numbers together.๐Ÿ’›

Nobody's actually "bad with money".

It's usually one of two things:
๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ You were never taught what to do (this is SUPER common & easily fixed)
๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ The beliefs and habits you picked up about money growing up

You can have the perfect plan, but if that second part stays in the background, it has a way of tripping you up.

Which reason feels more like you, 1 or 2? ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿผ

Donโ€™t let your ex get your money. ๐Ÿ‘€

Updating your beneficiaries is one of those things almost nobody actually does.

New relationship, marriage, divorce, a baby.
Any major life change means your beneficiaries need a review.

Your insurance and investments donโ€™t automatically update when your relationship status does. That money goes to whoever is listedโ€ฆ which may just be your ex.๐Ÿ˜ณ

Add this to your fall cleanup list and ACTUALLY do it this week.๐Ÿ‚

And if you want to do a full review of your coverage and investments while youโ€™re at it, book your free discovery call ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ Link in bio. ๐Ÿ’›๐ŸŒฟ

If you quit smoking over a year ago, this one could save you a lot of money. ๐Ÿ‘€

Most people donโ€™t know that once youโ€™ve been smoke free for 12 months, you can apply to have the smoker rating removed from your insurance policy.

This includes life, disability, and critical illness insurance.

And that rating? It makes a significant difference to what youโ€™re paying every month. It could literally cut your premium in halfโ€ฆ

You did the hard part already. The easy part is making sure your insurance actually reflects that.

Send this to someone you know who quit!
They probably have no idea this is even an option. ๐Ÿ’›๐ŸŒฟ

Let's talk risk for a sec ๐Ÿ’›

Investing in one company is like putting all your eggs in one basket.
If it tanks, so does your money.๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿผ

But spread across 100 companies?
One flops and it's a small dent, not a disaster.

Youโ€™re not betting everything on a single winner, youโ€™re playing the odds across many.

โœจ Thatโ€™s diversification โœจ

It wonโ€™t erase risk (nothing does), but it dramatically lowers the chances any single failure takes you down. Different companies, industries, and countries all working to balance each other out.

Drop a ๐Ÿงบ if you're team don't put all your eggs in one basket.๐Ÿ’›

The thing nobody tells you about term life insurance: the price is only locked for the term.

After that it jumps to match your age, and you can only escape it by re-qualifying, which isn't a guarantee if something medical comes up (I know someone that happened to ๐Ÿ˜ญ).

That's why going 100% term is not always right for everyone.
But the perfect mix genuinely depends on the person.

(*General info only* Everyone's setup is different! This is just to help encourage you to take a look at yours and see if it still makes sense for you!๐Ÿ’›)
