I cannot resist sharing a quirky article mentioning boomers. However, boomers controlling a significant portion of the wealth is an important conversation. Their aging children are starting to think about what their retirement holds, and that likely won't include an inheritance in their prime retirement years. Our parents are (thankfully) living longer and the wealth may stay in their hands for another 30+ years.

My key takeaway? Let them hold onto their hard earned money, and instead inherit some of that hard earned knowledge. Ask the boomers how they earned their wealth, what mistakes they made along the way, and what their plans are for passing the wealth down.
