Are you interested in specializing in finance?

The Odette Student Success Centre will be hosting a specialization day to provide you with essential information you require to complete your specialization in finance. A brief presentation will cover the course requirements for the specialization and the application process. Odette faculty, staff, alumni, current students and employers will be in attendance to answer any questions you may have.


Event is open to all students.

"The first time I walked into the Finance Lab, it was scary. It wasn't how it is now. Now it's very welcoming, and there's always people in there. When I first walked in there, there were two guys. I would walk by that door back and forth and not go in because it was the same two guys every time, and I didn't want to be a burden. The first day that I finally walked in that door I didn't even say anything. I signed in, and I sat down. They came over and started helping me, and I was just thinking that it wasn't bad at all. I was totally uncomfortable doing that though, and now it's grown to where I'm at today and I'm a big part of the lab and found my passion by doing that. Being insecure in second year, and I guess that was a fear at the time too, but I just had to do it, and I have never looked back."
