Congratulations to FC140 on a very successful 3rd Annual Food For Families Day!!

In partnership with Sobeys Extra St. Clair Beach, Sun Life Financial Canada, Anchor Drive came together to provide food for 1200 families. The Food for Families on Family Day, 2017 benefits families that receive services from the Windsor-Essex Children's Aid Society. On Family Day, Monday, February 20th, volunteers gathered at Sobeys from 10:00 to 1:00 to fill bags with assorted foods that will be distributed to families by the Children’s Aid Society. According to Paul Lue Pann, Financial Centre Manager of Sun Life’s Anchor Drive location, “Food for Families is becoming a Family Day tradition for our advisors here on Anchor Drive. For the third year, we look forward to gathering at Sobey’s to pack bags that will support the families of the Children’s Aid Society. Sun Life Financial-Windsor Essex 2nd Annual "Food for Families on Family Day" provides 1411 bags of food for families in the Windsor area!!!!

Sun Life Financial Windsor Essex Financial Centre partnered with Sobeys (Amy Croft Dr. in Tecumseh) for a Food Drive to collect non-perishable food donations with the goal of stuffing 1,000 bags. After working as a team for a number of hours, over 1,400 bags were packed and ready to go.
