Great day of learning and collaboration at our Professional Development Day in Vaughan.
We kicked off the morning with an inspiring session from Joanne Kudakiewicz on building your business through philanthropy. She shared the importance of getting involved in your community, supporting causes you care about, and even sitting on local boards. Not only does it allow you to give back, but it also places you in rooms with people you may not have otherwise met — creating meaningful connections and expanding your perspective.
We also heard about the Evolution program and what’s ahead for this year, along with sessions on advanced insurance strategies, portfolio construction, and practical tools like the Life Design Analysis. Thank you Erin Meisner, CHS, PFA, MFA-P and Bill Clunas for sharing your insights and best practices for this strategic tool.
Days like this are a great reminder of how important it is to continue investing in our knowledge so we can better serve the families and businesses who trust us with their financial planning.
One of the highlights of the afternoon was the discussion on Elevating Women — from supporting characters to leading roles. As a woman building a business in this industry, conversations like this are both powerful and motivating. Thank you Kyra Droog, BBA, CFP, CLU from Sunlife for delivering this empowering presentation.
Thank you to Al Roissl CFP, Ted Girard, BA, CFP, CHS, CLU, and Jacqueline Soong, CFP for organizing and bringing together both the Ontario Central and Southwestern Ontario teams for a great day of learning and collaboration.
Proud to stand alongside the Desjardins Financial Security Independent Network - Windsor office with Valerie Mallett - DFSIN, Adam Brown - Life and Health Advisor, Marco Levesque, Robert Lamont - DFSIN and the entire Desjardins Financial Security Independent Network - South Western Ontario team.
Looking forward to putting these insights into action.✨
