While having a high credit score is important for securing a mortgage, it's not the only factor lenders consider. ✅

2️⃣ I have to close all of my old accounts to increase my credit score. ❌

This strategy can actually harm your credit score rather than help it. ✅

3️⃣ A mortgage pre-approval guarantees my final approval. ❌

Not necessarily. Changes in your financial circumstances or issues with the property can affect the final approval. ✅

4️⃣ Fixed rates are always better than variable rates. ❌

While fixed rates offer more stability and predictability, there are scenarios where variable rates can be advantageous. ✅
