I just renewed my car insurance for the year and saved $450.00! Did you know that you could have your basic insurance with ICBC but then purchase your third party, collision, and liability insurance with BCAA! NO DATA? NO PROBLEMS!! From $380.00 a month to $100.00 a month.
How much have you saved over these last few months? I have been diligently going through my fixed expenses and one big savings for me was getting rid of my data on my cell phone! I have 4 cell phones on a bell package and it was costing me 380$ plus...per month and I decided that my money was worth more than data. So I called Bell and moved all of our phones to the non-data plans...I was afraid that I would miss it but I actually am in love with it. I love not being able to look at emails and apps while I am out of the house or office. I not only gained $$ per month but I regained precious time! I made a little spreadsheet and went through the cost of other packages vs my package to really seal the deal on my decision! Do you have data? Maybe you could be saving $ and time too!

BC Hydro COVID-19 Relief Fund - Easy to apply for credit for hydro for 3 months and you do not need to pay it back! Apply for it today!

for residential customers
If you're a residential customer and you or your spouse/partner have stopped working due to COVID-19, you may be eligible to receive three months of credit on your BC Hydro bill. The credit amount is based on your average consumption and you will not need to pay it back.

To receive the credit, you need to apply for the program and be approved. If you’re approved, the credit will be automatically added to your account.

In response to COVID-19, funding for critical services is increased by $1.7 billion to support individuals and businesses.

CERB to now include people who make up to 1000.00 a month, seasonal contract workers, and individuals who have had their EI run out (such as maternity benefits)! Trudeau just announced that the CERB will now be relaxed to include the above!

Trudeau will be announcing what the Government will be offering to people who are still working but working less hours due to COVID-19. This includes self employed people as well as people who worked full time and now are part time due to less hours for COVID-19. They are working on it and it will be coming soon.

Wow! Just announced that Government will allow a measure of 15% loss of revenue for March 2020 over March 2019 to qualify for the Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy! Rather than the 30% loss measure originally quoted!!

Information has now been released on how and when to apply for the Canada Emergency Response Benefit. Applications open on April 6th. Make note that you must have a Service Canada log in or a My Account with the CRA in order to submit your application...they have said that they will offer a telephone application as well...
