Today marks Weyburn Security’s official 100th anniversary (1926–2026). 🎉

Since 1926, we’ve been proud to serve Weyburn and Southeast Saskatchewan through changing times, evolving from our early banking roots into a modern group focused on financial planning and investment advice, alongside property management and other operating businesses.

To celebrate this milestone, we’re hosting an official anniversary event on Thursday, June 18 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at 111 2nd Street NE. Join us for lunch, live music, and presentations as we recognize 100 years of service.

FP Canada has launched their ninth iteration of the Financial Stress Index today. The Financial Stress Index takes the pulse of Canadians’ financial well-being, identifying the key sources and impacts of financial stress nationwide. Groceries, housing, and gas prices were highest contributors. Canadians who work with CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professionals have reported to be less stressed then those without.

It’s that time of year again- Santa for seniors is BACK 🎅🎁

This holiday season, we’re excited to spread joy and cheer to the senior members of our community. Through our Santa for Seniors initiative, we aim to bring smiles, warmth, and connection to the elderly in our care homes.

We have been in close contact with both Tatagwa View and Weyburn Special Care Home, who have generously provided wish lists for all of their residents. You can help make a difference by stopping by Weyburn Security to pick up a gift tag—each tag corresponds to a specific wish from one of our seniors.

Your kindness will help brighten their holidays in a truly meaningful way. ❤️
