As Weyburn Credit Union prepares to expand into Pilot Butte with a new Advice Centre, we’re hiring a Business Development Manager to help establish our presence in the community and shape our newest location from the ground up.

This isn’t a typical branch leadership role.

The successful candidate will be highly visible and actively involved in the Pilot Butte community, building relationships with individuals, businesses and community organizations, creating opportunities for growth, leading and coaching a team, and helping shape the culture and member experience of the Pilot Butte Advice Centre. 🌱

We’re looking for someone energized by people, relationships and growth. Someone who is comfortable making connections, asking for business and turning those connections into long-term relationships.

The role includes:
• Salary range of $74,269 to $102,120, based on qualifications and relevant experience
• Short-term incentive/profit-sharing opportunity
• Additional new market incentive tied to the performance of the Pilot Butte location
• Employer-matched pension of up to 7%
• Comprehensive health, dental, disability, life insurance and wellness benefits
• Professional development and career growth opportunities

That’s a wrap on Co-op Week 2026! 🎉
We wrapped up the week by awarding local gift cards and Co-op car washes to some lucky Weyburn residents.

Earlier today, we shared that Weyburn Credit Union will be opening a new Advice Centre in Pilot Butte.

There’s a lot of thought behind a decision like this, and we wanted to share a little more about what led us here.

Today, Thursday, October 15, credit unions around the world are celebrating the 78th International Credit Union Day, a tradition that dates back to 1948.

It’s a day to celebrate what makes credit unions different: we’re member-owned, rooted in our communities, and built on the idea that when people work together, everyone can benefit.
